News > CW News - "Veronica Mars" not cancelled, "Gilmore Girls" still up in the air

"Veronica Mars" isn't cancelled, says show executive producer Rob Thomas. It lives until Thomas has a meeting with the CW so they can hear his ideas for the fourth season. Probably a good idea. The show was great at first and fell off hard after that...but still has potential. The whole serial rapist story-line really sent the viewers away in droves.

"Gilmore Girls," the other CW series that is up in the air, is still...up in the air. More and more, it looks like the eighth season of the show will be a shortened 13 episode season, but nothing is official yet.
