CBS has given the green light to Worst Week, the American version of BBC series The Worst Week of My Life. The new pilot was written by Matt Tarses and will be directed by Marc Buckland, says . The single-camera pilot revolves around a young couple "who must navigate the politics of their soon-to-be-in-laws during a family holiday." The original series took place during the week leading up to the wedding of the primary characters, with each of the seven episodes representing a day. I wonder if they'll abandon that structure for this series as American seasons generally run about 22 episodes rather than the British standard of six or seven. Lazy Brits...
