The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation has unveiled nine new fall TV shows. Among them, The Tudors (period drama starring Jonathan Rhys-Myers), No Opportunity Wasted (reality show), Heartland (family drama), St. Urbain's Horseman (miniseries), Triple Sensation (reality competition), and The Nature of Things: Geologic Journey (what does it sound like?).

The CBC is attempting to distinguish itself from its fellow Canadian networks by airing mostly Canadian programming rather showing than the standard U.S. lineup. Isn't that great? Homegrown television goodness for the people. U.S. SMASH!
