News > Burrows Makes Herself Comfortable at Boston Legal

July 25, 2007

British actress Saffron Burrows (whom I always think is Sophie Marceau and vice versa) has earned herself a regular role on ABC's Boston Legal. According to , the actress was originally recruited for a multi-episode story arc, but three weeks into production she's been named a regular performer for the fourth season.

Burrows plays Lorraine Weller, "a sexy, sophisticated litigator who once had a passionate affair with Alan Shore (James Spader), the chemistry of which still lingers and distracts." No word yet on what sort of fetish brings the two characters together, because let's face it, whether it's videotaping confessions, being in car crashes, or jumping through stargates, Spader needs that extra somethin' somethin' in his relationships.
