reports that in a recent survey, nearly half of the British TV-watchers polled demanded higher standards of creativity from the BBC. Here I thought the English way was to quietly and stoically endure things, even things as bad as boring television. This is just like The Queen; I'm so out of step with the English people. Boo-hoo.
