News > Big Love gets uber-mini series

May 15, 2007

that HBO, everyone's favorite purveyor of high-brow programming, is set to debut a new distribution model. Big Love, the oh-so-twisted Polygamist melee will benefit from a 3 part miniseries, creatively titled "Big Love: The Beginning." The miniseries will, predictably, focus on the early days of Bill Henrickson and his many wives, and should go to great lengths to further explain the complicated relationship between Bill and Roman, as well as give some background on the three wives. The "episodes" will debut on June 4th, last between 3 1/2 and 5 minutes a piece, and should be available for purchase via HBO on Demand. No pricing structure has been set, but let's hope they're pretty damn cheap, as 3 - 5 minutes really ain't worth all that much.
