News > Benoit investigation expands to his quack doctor, 'roid rage suspected

When pro wrestler Chris Benoit killed his wife and child before turning the gun on himself, it was pretty clear that the guy had some unresolved medical issues (read: problems with steroid consumption). Sure enough, it looks like Atlanta officials were thinking the same thing, conducting a raid on Benoit's doctors office late Wednesday night. Dr. Phil Astin had been treating Benoit for quite some time and admitted that the former pro wrestler had been experiencing "low testosterone levels" likely due to Steroid abuse. Benoit had visited Astin's office last Friday, just hours before embarking on his murderous rampage. Coincidence? Who knows, but the odds that this guy went ballistic as the result of some form of "Roid Rage" are pretty damn high. Stay off the juice, kids. Seriously.
