This is the best news I've heard all week. It seems that despite his daughter cursing, Kim Basinger hating antics, Alec Baldwin will, in fact, return for next season's run on NBC's breakout comedy 30 Rock. ET Online is reporting that Baldwin and NBC have reached an agreement that will allow for the star to continue in his role as Jack Donaghy, the head of NBCs East Coast Television and Microwave Oven programming. This is amazing news. The show is a balancing act, with each character playing off one another in a very delicate, intricate, and hilarious way...taking out Alec Baldwin would be akin to removing the pin from a grenade. The explosion would be spectacular, but the end result disastrous. Thank the lord this man has returned. In other, equally exciting 30 Rock news, ET Online has confirmed that Jerry Seinfeld will be making a guest appearance during the shows season opening episode. No word exactly who/what/ or how he'll play his part, but who cares? It's Seinfeld for God's sake!
