News > Anna Nicole Smith-inspired "Law & Order" airs tonight

May 8, 2007

Via TV Guide:

The "ripped from the headlines" detective series "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" got a bit lazy with their headline ripping for tonight's episode; the show will feature a story inspired by Anna Nicole Smith. Whopee! Kristy Swanson, the actress who played "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in the film version of the franchise, will play Lorelei Mailer, a drugged out Anna Nicole type.

The funniest part and the reason why you should watch the episode despite being SOOOoooooooo over Anna Nicole Smith is comedian David Cross. The "Arrested Development" star will be playing the Howard K. Stern role. This is, as "Law & Order's" network NBC used to say, "Must See TV."
