News > America likes silly dancing shows better than the NBA Finals

It's so sad, yet so true. Thursday night's preliminary primetime numbers are in, and it's not a pretty sight. Fox pulled in 10.9 million viewers and a concurrent Nielsen rating of 4.2 with So You Think You Can Dance. Compare this with ABC's first game of the NBA Finals' 8.2 million viewers and 3.3 Nielsen rating and you have the makings of a moral coup. Dancing over the opening night of the greatest sports series of the year? That's just not right. Someone contact Nielsen. We demand a recount! Seriously, though. America: Please get your priorities straight. This is no longer funny.
