...and the walls came tumbling down. This is steeped in a bitter sort of rivalry. According to TVGuide ABC's 20/20, one of the last bastions of true investigative journalism, has embarked on an investigation of NBC's Dateline, one of the other bastions of true investigative journalism. Let the dumbass olympics begin. It seems that 20/20's producers are interested in a certain story that Dateline ran, investigating a former Texas District Attorney that was exposed on camera as a child molester, only to take his own life moments later. A disturbing turn of events, fit only for...20/20. This is absolutely ridiculous. The show is currently working on a special covering NBC's snafu. This 20/20 special will only be trumped by a subsequent 60 Minutes investigation into the investigation of the investigation that led to the suicide. You get that? America is a silly place sometimes.
