ABC has ordered a script for The Fixer, a drama about "the most powerful woman in New York." In other words, a fixer is a person who is hired to discreetly solve the problems of the rich and powerful. Russell Gewirtz (Inside Man) is attached to write and executive produce. As so astutely points out, the lead for this series sounds an awful lot like Jodie Foster's character in Inside Man. Imagine's Brian Grazer and David Nevins are executive producing.
