News > 24 to Have Literally "Explosive" Season Finale

May 1, 2007

Just in case you haven't had enough Jack Bauer news today, it appears that what Howard Gordon said about next season being a total reinvention may very well be true.

According to the May sweeps preview in USA Weekend, producer Evan Katz stated that "The season finale will be explosive, literally, as we are going out with a very big bang, action- and suspense-wise." Katz says their finale is unlike anything they've ever shot before. He gave nothing else away, but considering his none-too-subtle use of "explosive" and "big bang," we could very well be looking at another nuclear explosion.

Considering this is exactly what we said 24 needed to do differently, this is great news.
