Showtime's single camera comedy Weeds about a widow selling marijuana to support her family is set to add Matthew Modine to its cast for a minimum of ten third season episodes. Modine, best known as Private Joker from Full Metal Jacket, will play a real estate developer and love interest to both said widow Nancy (Mary-Louise Parker) and Celia (Elizabeth Perkins). One down, two to go: R. Lee Ermey and Vincent D'Onofrio, you are officially on notice.
