News > Zip Reconsidered by NBC

September 26, 2007

Written by David Morgan

The lame headline of the day has been earned by with their "Zip gets new lock at NBC" primarily because "lock" doesn't even mean anything in that context. NBC handed out a pilot order for Zip, a pilot that was originally developed last season directed by Dan Attias and starring UCB funnyman Rob Huebel. Written by Mark Rizzo, Marc Abrams and Michael Benson, Zip revolves around "have nots" living in a ZIP code full of "haves."

The pilot was passed on in May, but since Ben Silverman has come aboard the project is back in development. Richard Shepard will direct the new pilot. No casting has been announced.
