Matt Stone and Trey Parker are bringing the Canadian/BBC production Kenny vs. Spenny to Comedy Central this November, including 10 new episodes and 10 episodes from the show's three season back catalog according to .
The plot of the "reality-comedy" is two childhood friends, Kenny Hotz and Spencer Rice, compete against each other in bizarre but hilarious events like who can survive in the woods the longest, who can become more famous within a week or who can go the longest without sleep.
The last one really touched Trey Parker after making Team America: World Police:
Stone told The Hollywood Reporter that he and Parker became fans of the series after Kyle McCulloch, a producer on their Comedy Central show "South Park," introduced them to an episode in which the duo competed to see who could stay up the longest without sleep. Stone said the episode really hit home.
"It was right after we finished 'Team America' in a six-day marathon," he said. "It was the worst time of my whole life. The physical torment that they put their bodies through touched us. It was just so funny but also realistic and raw."
