The overrated fiscal-juggernaut that is the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is finally mapping a course for the shores of television (who doesn't love pirate metaphors?).  USA (which I stopped tuning in to after it stopped showing 'Macgyver' and 'Quantum Leap' - Scott Bakula = tasty) has swooped up the rights for the premiere of all the box-office busting behemoth.

The first film in the series became USA's highest rated film of all time, finally knocking Quantum Leap vs. La Femme Nikita off the throne.

So those of you who actually enjoy watching brainless eye-candy on your 12 inch kitchen television, can now be assured that the rest of this pirate epic is coming to your boob tube.  The film is set premiere in September of 2009.
