It safe to say that Heroes was one of this season's break out shows. Kids. Special powers. Villains. What's not to love? The show's creator, Tim Kring, has certainly enjoyed his fair shore of praise and attention over the last year or so, and it seems like the hype (justly deserved, of course) is finally paying off in the form of a rather large contract. Kring has just signed a two-year deal with NBC. The contract retains his services as the King of Heroes, as well as guaranteeing him control over the upcoming spinoff, Heroes: Origins. Kring also gets to call the shots for any print/media-related Heroes swag. Not too shabby at all. The 2 year deal went down for an undisclosed sum, but you can bet that the number was pretty damn high. Kring is the first full-time talent guy to come on board at NBC in the last couple of years. Congrats to you, Tim Kring. You've created a fantastic show, and deserve all of the recognition coming your way. Now if only you could do something about the abomination that is Jericho...
