Only because Michael Aussielo over at TV Guide seems so excited am I dignifying this news with an entry:

 

-  Elizabeth Reaser, the Jane Doe character Alex (Justin Chambers) had eyes for last season, is coming back.  Though Aussielo didn't have an exact number of episodes the decidedly lovely lass would be, his spy-source has informed him that it is more than one.

 

-  George (T.R. Knight) and Izzie (Katherine Heigl) aren't going to last terribly long in the touching-each-other-for-kicks department.  Focus groups hate the couple and show creator Shonda Rhimes isn't too fond of the pairing herself.  SPOILER ALERT:  Aussielo has this to say about the couple's future: 'the ex-platonic pals are forced to examine their relationship while tending to an, um, unusual patient: a deer.'   This show is sooooo stupid.
