Score one for the guy with a webcam and a dream. Radio funny man and R&B sunger Fatman Scoop has just signed a deal with MTV for a show based on an internet videocast that he has been producing with his wife Shanda. The show, cleverly titled Wife, features the hilarious couple waxing thoughtfully on topics including finances, romance, politics, and sex. The videocast has gained quite a loyal following, currently sporting over 3 million regular viewers. The contract includes a TV show development project, as well as a book and DVD deal. Not too shabby. Check out this candidly tongue in cheek quote from MTV executive Tony DiSanto:

"Fatman Scoop and Shanda are not only made for each other but are made for television," he said. "Their hilarious and frank discussions could help usher in a new era of public discourse on everything from sex and sexuality to romance in a committed relationship and bring Scoop and Shanda to an even wider audience."
