Geeks of the world, still your thumping hearts, untie the noose from the ceiling fan, take a step back from that precarious edge - 'Dr. Who' will continue onwards. icWales ('the official website of ... Wales') is reporting that the troubled show, currently closing up it's third season, would continue with filming of the soon-to-be-shot fourth season.  BBC Wales director Julie Gardner is claiming the reports of problems on the set aren't signs of collapse, but rather signs of ardent fan interest.  Uh, what?

Recently there have been reported rumors that showrunner Russel T. Davies was going to drop the time-travelling sci-fi cult favorite, to begin work on other shows.  Some claimed the issue was the extensive time commitment the show demanded (9 months, 16 hours a day, sheeeeeeyit) and that cast and crew had grown tired and wanted to move on.  Gardener rebuked these rumors, saying, 'This story is just idle speculation.  We are a long way away from even thinking about series five when the current series hasn’t ended and we have yet to start filming series four.'

So far no word on whether or not a new Dr. Who will step in to the shoes of David Tennant, or if a new Companion will be joining.  Just as long as the show continues to extend the sci-fi olive branch of peace between us and those bad-teethed Brits, I'm okay.

By the way, as I've never watched the 'Dr. Who' before, so I had to do a little research on what was what and so on.  I was utterly shocked to find that the terrifying 'Daleks' were really just the thimble from Monopoly with glued on arms and wheels.  These are the most terrifying creatures in the galaxy?  Maybe they look better moving or something.
