News > Anchorwoman pulled from Fox after first episode

Wow. It takes real talent to get yanked from Fox after a single episode..., the network's strongly hyped Anchorwoman show got the ole' umbrella after it's first episode bombed. Savagely. To be completely fair, the show was doomed from the jump, with a terrible premise (former model wants to prove her intellect as worthy, decides to become a journalist...people still think she's dumb), and the execution was even worse. It's possible to turn these sorts of situations into, at the very least, passably amusing shows. That did not happen here. Fox, in somewhat trademark fashion, did the seemingly unachievable. Nice. You can find the remaining 7 of the 8 ordered episodes up on Fox.com.
