Fox has picked up American Dad for a fourth season, after the good ratings of its second season. Perhaps the most significant impact of this decision, as points out, is that this fourth season will give the series enough segments to go into off-network syndication. The third season will begin this fall in its usual 9:30 Sunday timeslot.
