News > 24 Goes Dark

November 8, 2007

Only a day after The Office was declared the first casualty of the strike, 24 has become the next first casualty. reports that Fox's action mainstay will not air at all this midseason, putting season seven on-hold indefinitely. This makes a lot of sense. ABC will be airing eight of its eighteen episodes of Lost in January, but 24 requires its full 24 episode season otherwise it just doesn't make sense.

Unfortunately, I think we can expect a lot more of these announcements in the days and weeks to come.
