News > 24 Film On Back Burner

VIA: TV Week

The long-anticipated 24 feature film seems to be officially postponed until the show runs its course according to executive producer Howard Gordon. FOX has recently renewed the thriller for at least 2 more seasons, and news of a movie pretty much answers the running question: Will the show end with Jack Bauer's death? Of course it won't. Jack Bauer, at least right now, equals money in the bank.

The movie of course has two options:

- Call the movie 2

- Shuck the real-time element that sets 24 apart from most TV series.

The latter is more likely, and while I hesitate to say that it really matters, it does prompt the question: What will set this movie apart?
