News > 'House' Honored by the Queen

May 23, 2007

reports Hugh Laurie, known to American viewers as the lead character from House, was honored by Queen Elizabeth II. He was made a member of the Order of the British Empire.

Laurie has been a famous comedian in England for at least 20 years... I guess it took fame in America to get the queen's attention.

The House finale is next week Tuesday.
