News > 'Dirt' and 'The Riches' Get Second Seasons

May 9, 2007

FX's two new series, Dirt and The Riches, have surpassed expectations, ratings-wise. Their weekly cumulative ratings are at least comparable to those of Rescue Me and The Shield, and so FX has decided to renew both shows.

Combining the renewed seasons of Dirt and The Riches with FX's already-established series (The Shield, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me) and the upcoming Glenn Close legal drama Damages, FX currently has more simultaneous, original dramatic series than any other network in the history of television.

Way to go, fellas.
