Reality TV > The News Media Hates Republicans

May 24, 2007

Lending some unfortunate credence to Bill O'Reilly's theory that the entire American media system is run by commie pinko fag jew liberals, reports that, statistically, the news media has been focusing much more heavily on Democratic contenders for the 2008 race than Republicans.

The Project for Excellence in Journalism revealed that generally speaking, campaign pieces were about Democrats 61 percent of the time and about Republicans only 24 percent of the time. Those numbers don't, you know, add up, so assumedly the remaining 15 percent of stories had no political slant at all.

However, this isn't to suggest that all of those Democrat stories are reported by liberals, who chose to gladhand their favorite candidates; it also turns out that Conservative radio personalities like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and Mike Savage talk about Democrats a whopping 75% of the time.

Bill O'Reilly was reached for comment, but was unable to reply as he was feasting on the innards of Al Franken.
