Reality TV > Sanjaya On to a New Reality Show?

I have at least a little respect for American Idol's Sanjaya Malakar for a couple of reasons.  One, the guy is from Seattle and has actually recorded some vocals in my basement (my roomie referred to him as 'the gay Indian one').  And two, no matter how much crap this guy gets flung at him for just being himself, he keeps on persevering.  After all the barbs and jabs and hits this little Indian fellow has taken, he's jumping right back on to the crap-pile in some sort of new reality show.  The information is scarce right now, but People released another fairly damning picture of the young singer, with the caption "Sanjaya Malakar takes on the UCLA cheerleading squad while filming a pilot for a new reality show (which is being produced by the creators of American Idol) in Venice Beach on Friday."  And yes he is surrounded by beautiful women, but not in a "oh famous person I want to screw" kind of way, more of a "gay guy I feel safe around" kind of way.

I'm sure news of this new reality show will spread across the internet like hell-fire in a matter of days.  So, keep your ears perked.
