Reality TV > Rosie O'Donnell's Argument on The View Not a Ratings Stunt, Says Walters

May 24, 2007

reports that Barbara Walters -- who actually refers to herself as "Aunt Barbara" -- has denied rumors that the enormous argument between Rosie O'Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck this Wednesday occurred to intentionally boost ratings.

Rosie, who (if her open homosexuality didn't clue you in) is a raging liberal, got into an argument with the conservative Hasselbeck over Iraq. Rosie said, "655,000 Iraqi civilians have died -- who are the terrorists?" Hasselbeck became furious over Rosie's insinuation that US troops were, in fact, the real terrorists and the two got into a shouting match that eventually devolved into each calling the other a "coward," for no reason other than the fact that you can't say "cunt" on air.

O'Donnell may or may not be returning to the show at some point in the future, given that her contract expires this month. Either way, she somehow has the balls for BS to say that she and Elisabeth are still great friends, and so on and so forth. Honestly, it's okay if you hate each other. You have your reasons.
