Does anybody else hope that Paris' 45 days in jail will erase her from the public consciousness once and for all? It's just a dream, I know. But Paris seems to continue to hold onto the vague and slippery hope that she'll never have to go to jail at all. She's not clearing out her appointment book, as she hasn't canceled either her appearance on Regis and Kelly or her ensuing appearance on Lettermen, both plugs for The Simple Life. Everyone seems to be talking about how irrational Paris' stereotypical jailhouse fears are, but wouldn't it be great if they came true? Better yet, what if she does something that keeps her in jail for the long haul? Ah, daytime fantasies. I'm all for anything that can keep her off the grid for good, and no, this is not a threat.
