Taking a page from ABC's Private Practice spin-off, NBC may be shopping around to create an Office spin-off, but using none of the core cast. TV Guide's Editorial Blog claims multiple (unnamed) sources confirm in an upcoming episode, new characters will be introduced to the Scranton team and then developed into a second show.
No cast has been mentioned yet, but who would be the alternate boss? Who'd be alternate Jim, or Pam or Dwight? Would the spin-off focus on Alfredo's?
Unfortunately, it's all up in the air.
