The E! Entertainment Television network has ordered 10 half-hour episodes for a third season of its U.S. reality series, "The Girls Next Door."

With a tentative launch date of next spring, the third season of "Girls" will revisit the lives of three Playboy models and their everyday routines at the magazine's trademark Playboy Mansion, said the Hollywood Reporter.

The episode order comes after the season premiere of the series' second season became the E! network's highest-rated original program broadcast in the last three years.

In addition, episodes of the sophomore season have garnered nearly double the network's daily average of viewers and improved in several key demographics compared to its first season.

The series from Prometheus Entertainment, Fox Television Studios and Alta Loma Entertainment has represented the network's best performance with adults aged 18-34 in recent years, the Reporter said.
