Bravo is saying, "Chop chop!"

The cable network has announced the pickup of hairstyling reality competition Top Hair. Previously announced as Heads Up, Hair will take the most talented hairstylists from around the country and trim them down until one lucky person proves they have the chops to cut the Top Hair. Winners will receive $100,000.

In addition to salon-floor shenanigans, contestants will live in a house and develop special reality show alliances and nemeses. Casting is currently under way cross-country--hopefuls can check out how they can apply at the Top Hair Web site.

"Our critically acclaimed reality competition series are marked by talented contestants and highly creative challenges," said Bravo president Lauren Zalaznick. "It's exciting to present our viewers with another group of gifted creators--in this case stylists--to showcase their craft as well as the high-stakes drama during their competitive journey."

Bravo is home to the smash reality contest Project Runway. Yesterday, Bravo picked up a second season of gym reality show Work Out.
