Fans of "Project Runway" playing armchair judge will get a chance to share their fashion sense with others on national TV.
Bravo will run its latest interactive component, a news ticker titled "Project Runway Sound Auf," during its third season marathon on Tuesday, Oct. 17 leading up to its finale the next day.
Fans can either text message or go online to share their thoughts about the on-screen designs and drama. Other Bravo celebrities will also share their comments, with "Project Runway" mentor Tim Gunn answering submitted fan questions during the marathon.
"Our viewers are tech savvy and love interactive components. 'Project Runway Sound Auf' gives them a whole new way to experience the show," says Lisa Hsia, SVP New Media. "We expect a lively interactive debate on the hot button issues that 'Project Runway' inevitably creates."
The finale -- which will crown either Laura Bennett, Ulrike Herzner, Michael Knight or Jeffrey Sebelia the best designer -- will air on Wednesday night, right before the second season premiere of "Top Chef."
BravoTV.com will also launch original webisodes as a companion for "Top Chef." Titled "Top Recipe: The Wong Way to Cook," each new Thursday webisode will feature Season One contestant Lee Anne Wong demonstrating how to prepare the winning recipe from the previous night's "Top Chef."
This week's winning elimination challenge recipe by contestant Ilan Hall will be particularly interesting to demonstrate because it includes escargot, peanuts and American cheese among two other eclectic ingredients. Perhaps they'll choose to do the quickfire challenge winner's recipe instead.
Each webisode will last three minutes.
