Well, Rosie is gone from 'The View' and as is her way, she's blabbing to anyone and everyone with a pencil and piece of paper about the unceremonious departure. Seemingly, she's painting herself as a real victim to the manipulations of the evil, evil women of the estrogen-pumping morning talk show. Well, television maven Barbara Walters is now voicing her opinion on the subject, telling reporters that O'Donnell was not actually fired, and that she's welcome to return to the show whenever she wants.
Old Whatshername Hasselbeck (has anyone else noticed you can almost see her getting fatter?) has also chimed in with one of her gems of knowledge, saying:
"This weekend we were in communication a lot. It gave us the opportunity to tackle our most important hot topic yet, and that is the power of forgiveness. And I believe we've started that process that will enable us to move in a very positive way, so I am very happy about that."
I wonder how much the producers had to pay the chirpy dim-wit to say that?
I haven't really been following this thriling story, but it seems to me that everyone involved is pretty okay with the departure, and it's those damn media outlets that are spinning it for an extra buck. What a surprise.
