Reality TV > "Project Runway" NOT Having Troubles, Claims Tim Gunn

April 11, 2007

Via TV Guide:

"Project Runway" cast member Tim Gunn says the rumors that the show is having a hard time finding talented designers are just rumors and that the show is delayed due to scheduling above all else.

The "true" part of the rumor is that there are fewer fashion school students than in previous years. Five percent of applications came from people enrolled in a fashion school. The first season? 85%. This, Gunn thinks, is a good thing. The quality of season 3, Gunn claims, has much to do with this.

Says Gunn: "'Thankfully, it scared off the students.'"

Whatever, Tim. Just..."make it work."
