reports that there may, in fact, be some justice in the world: Mark Burnett's ever-so-slightly reworked version of Survivor debuted to truly lackluster ratings last night.

 

With only 7.1 million viewers overall, Pirate Masters was trounced by yet another dazzling display of television mediocrity, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, which pulled in 8.7 million viewers.

 

It's not much, but it's nonetheless nice to see that a substandard reality show actually rope in substandard numbers.
