Reality TV > 'Friends' Co-Creator Behind Psychic Battle

Marta Kaufmann is one of women behind "Friends", the most popular show of the 90s, a show that even in it's lowest moments was always better then ANY sitcom of its kind that exists today.  She's been fairly silent since the end of the show, helping out with production duties on "Veronica Mars" and other, lesser known shows like "Jesse" and "Related".  Now though, Ms. Kaufmann is back with a new type of reality competition - one that pits psychics against each other in a series of ESP testing challenges including Tarot card reading and seance holding.

This has to be one of the worst concepts for a reality show of all time.  I mean, Jesus Christ, can you just imagine the greasy-haired cheese-balls that will be lining up for this one?  All of them cracking jokes like, "I've already seen the future, and it's me baby, MEEEEEE!"  Also, to get a recognizable host for this crap, Kaufmann is going to have to dig really deep in to the shit barrel to find someone desperate enough to get involved.  Dionne Warwick was on that television infomerical for a while, and I think it had something about reading the future for 1.99 a minute, but I think even Warwick is above this kind of crap.

The show will be titled "Gifted" and will be co-produced by Beauty and the Geek alum J.D. Roth.
